Description

RS Prussia Swans Terrace Church Berry Bowl Set Mold 205 3 Scenes
This listing is for  a  stunning Berry Bowl Set by RS Prussia. Mold 205,
with 3 scenes.
Large Master Bowl and 6 Fruit Dishes / Bowls
A blissful scene of tranquility; I think I hear the tinkle of wine glasses
on the terrace.  Large white swans gracefully floating along on the
calm blue waters.
On a faraway hillside, a glimpse of a church
or a monastery nestled in the mist.
Lush colorful foliage, fluffy white clouds frame this idyllic scene.
The shapely master bowl and smaller bowls are rimmed in gold and
highlighted with stylized acanthus leafing at the edges.
Condition:
The finish is extremely glossy,
therefore white streaks and spots
are the result of lighting conditions.
The porcelain is thin and fragile.
No paint loss, and gold wear is very minimal.
No chips or cracks or nips or bites. None.
There is a tiny scratch on the blue waters
of the master bowl as noted in photo.
Other than that, at 100 years plus,
the set is in fine antique condition.
All stamped with the RS Prussia Mark Number 1, c 1870-1918.
The red, Suhl  was used by the Reinhold Schlegelmilch
China Factory.
Approximate Measurements:
Master Bowl:
10-3/4 inches diameter

Berry Dishes:

1-1/4 inches high
And all weigh approximately 3 pounds 4 ounces
without packing materials.

Please examine the photos carefully as they are considered
to be part of the description. Thank you.
Thanks for stopping by.
Read the description and ask all questions before purchasing.
Please remember to scroll down to the end of the listing,
as there are times I receive questions and they will be answered there.
Or there may be a bid on the item,
so I have added an addendum to the description for
something that I may have forgotten.
Please keep in mind that I'm not selling new items.
They usually are antique or vintage,
can be a hundred or more years old and have been gently used.
Edge wear on gold is to be considered as normal and the usual.
Also, please remember that old glass
and porcelain were not manufactured with the sophisticated technology that we have today,
therefore there may be glaze pops,
black pin dots, and minor factory flaws.
Excellent Condition, Mint Condition,
or any descriptive term used when describing
the physical attributes of glass and porcelain are very, very subjective.
What I may consider very good condition, someone else may disagree.
Keeping this in mind, I will make every effort to objectively describe the item at hand.
Approximate sizes and weights are always included in the description.
