    Description

    LARGE Wooden monkey mask, representing the Barong, a protective monster/guardian from Balinese Hinduism. Hand-carved in Tegallalang, Bali, Indonesia. Fair trade. Carved from light wood, the body of the mask is in varnished wood with black, blue and gold details. It has a fitting that makes it easy to hang on the wall. Size: 13" wide (33 cm), 14" (34 cm) high. It sticks out from the wall by 15 cm.
    As masks are carved individually, hey may vary a little bit in size - depending on the trunk they were carved from.
    All the masks are hand-carved and individually painted, so there may be some small difference in size or details between the one pictured and the one you will receive - although they will all be same colour, shape and roughly similar size.
