    Description

Checking the archives, it seems Dunhill's shape 710 is rather rare. You just do not see many of these and this is only the second one I've had in years. To my eyes it reminds me of a a cross between a 127 and a 4103, just classic throughout and well proportioned in a Group 4. The stout bowl is perfectly formed and offers extra thick walls with a healthy sized chamber. The shank is muscular and sturdy extending to meet the original vulcanite stem with crisp white spot and straight bit. Dressed in a stunning Shell Briar finish, it is a deep burgundy with red accents on the relief while the blast shows off loads and loads of birdseye craters on the flanks with perfect cross grain to the front and rear, wow! Overall in superb condition for being 54 years old, this Dunhill is in its prime and ready to smoke!
