    Description

    Neat old non-regal farthing - this is an evasive issue with nonsense legends.  I think it is the Atkins 465 variety with legends GEORGE RULES and FARTHING - please review the photos and make your own determination.
    The bust style is quite crudely engraved and the flan is very brassy and thin.  This would appear to be a late 18th century / 1700s issued and perhaps even minted during 1793 - the same year it is dated.  This is not always the case with these types.
    Sized about 20mm & and very lightweight 2.2g.
